The “Unmasking Antifa” Act of 2018

What you read below is the full text of Congressional Bill H.R. 6054, put forth by the former Republican Congressman for New York State’s 11th District Dan Donovan. It was additionally backed by fellow Republicans Pete King, Ted Budd, and Paul Gosar and was referred to as the "Unmasking Antifa" Act. This bill was sent to the House Judiciary Committee for review shortly after introduction.

This bill carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison for concealing your identity while restricting the rights and freedoms of others in a public manner. It is specifically aimed at Antifa's public activities wherein their adherents disrupt, de-platform, threaten violence, or use violence to stop/hinder events and speakers.

As of July 30th 2018 the bill was deferred to a sub-committee on “Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security, and Investigations”. This is where it has remained for the last 6 months...
